Our Fiji Ginger Almond Butter combines fresh-roasted Mission almonds with gorgeous, golden-hued crystallized Fiji ginger, and Jacobsen sea salt. The resulting vibrant and lemony almond butter is delightful as a breakfast spread on warm waffles, a unique way to wake up your AB&J, a base for an Asian-inspired dressing, and, of course, a snack right out of the jar. Stir well each time you enjoy, because we don’t use any stabilizers like palm or hydrogenated vegetable oil, and the ginger likes to sink to the bottom of the jar!
Why is Fiji in the name? Our search for delicious, traceable, sustainable ginger led us to The Ginger People in Viti Levu, Fiji. Using regenerative practices that build soil health, their farming partners rotate their ginger crops with cassava, taro, and other annual crops to maintain the integrity and productivity of the local ecosystem.
